♠ - Descongelando a geladeira / Defreezing the refrigerator
Depois de editar o video da Patricia Biagioni, eu fiquei empolgado em editar outro. clique aqui para ampliar o video este video de 27/dez/2004. eu fiz apenas com a intencao de registrar minha maneira de descongelar a geladeira. mas hoje, com o youtube, pensei, "por que naum compartilhar?" entaum eu reeditei o video hoje (10/set/2007) e coloquei aqui no youtube. eu fiz isso por mais ou menos 2 anos, e geralmente eu fazia na vespera das compras quando a geladeira estava razoavelmente vazia. ateh que em janeiro de 2006 me disseram que o problema era no termostato, e disseram que como eu sou o "faz tudo", eu mesmo poderia comprar a peca na assistencia tecnica e reposicionar em casa. jah estava questionando a possibilidade de comprar outra geladeira, mas o problema era apenas termostato e borrachas de porta. entaum ao invez de gastar R$ 1200,00 (preco de uma nova) eu gastei apenas R$ 25,00 (termostato + borrachas). consegui trocar tudo numa boa, apesar de achar que a reposicao do termostato naum foi tao facil como muitos outros "faz tudo" me disseram. enfim. hoje, naum mais faco isso com a geladeira, mas estah aih a dica. recomendacoes: 1 - deve-se cortar o gelo com a agua primeiro isolando a regiao da lampada, pois ali fica o fios, e o cabo do termostato. se naum cortar o gelo dali, quando o pedaco inteiro soltar, o peso ira forcar aquela parte. (note no minuto 3:35 do filme, um pequeno pedaco de gelo que eu deixei por ultimo) 2 - quando enxugar a geladeira, remover a lampada, enxugar dentro do soquete (bocal), e a lampada. (apesar do soquete ter um anel de borracha que impede que a agua entre dentro dos contatos da lampada, eu naum gosto de arriscar) e lembre-se de fazer isso ANTES de religar a geladeira na tomada. 3 - ao replugar a geladeira na tomada, esteja calcado, e com o calcado SECO (isento de agua). pq o choque que eu tomei no minuto 6:30, eu estava segurando o plugue, pela borracha que era grossa, e mesmo assim, na "faisca inicial", a eletricidade "pulou" por todo o isolamento. essa "faisca inicial" eu naum sei explicar com termos tecnicos, mas eh como se corresse mais energia no momento em que os contatos se tocam. (note que no minuto 6:45, quando eu termino de enfiar o plugue com o cabo da vassoura, a luz da cozinha diminui por um breve momento.) mas a recomendacao maior eh, troque de termostato o quanto antes. se naum souberes como, pague para quem sabe. pois vivemos num periodo em que a escassez da agua limpa eh uma grande preocupacao mundial. entaum... lavar carros, calcadas, e "descongelar geladeiras" com mangueira de jardim, estao virando coisas do passado, e acredito que naum demora muito a comecarem a proibir este tipo de acao. espero que tenham gostado. abracos As | After I edited the Patricia Biagioni's video, I got excited to edit another one. click here to enlarge video a 27/dec/2004 video. I made it with the intention to register my way to defreeze my refrigerator. but today, with youtube, I thought, "why not sharing?". so I re-edited it today (10/sep/2007) and placed it here on youtube. I used to do that about a couple of years, and usually on the supplies recharge previous day when the fridge was quite empty. On january, 2006 they told me this problem was by a broken thermostat, and adviced me as I am a "do-everything", I could buy myself this piece on a technical assistance and replace it at home. I was considering a possibility of buying another fridge, but the problem was only thermostat and door's isolation rubbers. so instead of spending R$ 1200,00 (price of a new fridge), I spent only R$ 25,00 (thermostat + rubbers). I could replace them nicely, although I guess the thermostat was not that easy to do as all the "do-everything" told me it was. anyway. Today, I no longer defreeze the fridge that way, but I'll leave this hint here. recommendations: 1 - you must first cut the ice with the water isolating the lamp region, cause there are wires on that region. if you not cut the ice off there, when the entire piece release, its weight will push that region. (note on the 3:35 minute of the video, a little piece of ice I left for last) 2 - when you dry the fridge, remove the lamp to dry inside the socket, and the lamp. (besides the fact the lamp sockets made for fridge have a rubber ring to avoid the water to reach the contacts, I don't like to take the risk) and remember to do that BEFORE of reconnecting the fridge to the wall electric terminal. 3 - when reconnecting the fridge to the wall electric terminal, be wearing shoes, and make sure you they are dry (exempt of water). cause the shock I took on the 6:30 minute, I was holding the plug by its rubber part which was quite thick, and even so, on the "initial spark", the electricity "jumped" through all the isolation. this "initial spark" I don't know how to explain in technical terms, but it's like the energy runs stronger on the contacts touching moment. (note that on the 6:45 minute, when I finished the plug insertion with a broom handle, the kitchen's light reduced for a brief moment.) but the biggest recommendation is, exchange the thermostat as soon as possible. if you cannot do it by yourself, pay someone to do it. cause we live on a time that clean water scarcity is a big global concern. so... wash cars, sidewalks, and "defreeze refrigerators" using a yard hose, are becoming "things from the past", and I believe it won't take too long for them to begin to forbid actions like this.
